Pickup from Dimapur airport
Day 1: Arrival & Meetup
Stay: Bungalow in Kohima
Day 1: Arrival & Meetup
Landing in Dimapur, we’ll meet you at the airport and take you to your guesthouse in Kohima. This property was bombed twice in the second world war and was later converted into a guest house, the caretakers have some exciting stories for you to tell. Later, meet up with your travel crew over a traditional Naga dinner and get excited for the adventures to come.

Day 2: Khonoma Village Tour
Stay: Zakhama homestay
Today we’ll visit Khonoma village - India’s first green village, and home to the headhunting Angami tribe. This Naga village once stood against the British empire for four decades. We’ll explore the village on foot, meeting with locals, visiting old forts and morungs, watching local craftsmen and learning the local way of life.
Plus - we'll be staying tonight at a local women’s house for a 100% authentic village experience.

Day 3: Dzukou Valley Trek
Stay: Dzukou valley camp
After breakfast, we’ll start our trek to the heart of Dzukou Valley. Get excited guys, this is the major highlight of the trip. The trek is pretty easy and the landscape is unlike anything else you’ll probably ever come across. Imagine lush carpeted meadows, streams flowing, clouds floating and rolling hills that have you feeling like you’ve taken a wrong turn and found yourself in another world.
After 2 hours of walking, we’ll finally reach our campsite. Settle in, grab a meal and brace yourself for the most spectacular sunset of the year.

Day 4: Explore Dzukou Valley
Stay: Dzukou valley camp
This morning, let's spare a thought for all those travellers who only have the time to camp for one night. Those poor unfortunate souls… With a full day in hand, we’ll explore the valley from deep within and take you to some of the most picturesque spots. Hope you charged your phone, cause you’ll need those pictures to make your friends back home jealous AF.
After spending our day wandering around we head back to the camps and get ready for a game night with the Metanoia Fam. Have some sticky rice wine and see where the night takes us!

Day 5: Back to Kohima
Stay: Bungalow in Kohima
After breakfast, trek your way back to the starting point and jump in the group van to begin your return journey towards Kohima. We’ll make a pit stop at the War Cemetery before we check in to our hotel. Later, get the squad together and head out to Cafe D for the most delish burgers and cappuccino in town. And if you’re lucky, you might find a talented band playing live music!

Day 6: Kiruphema Village
Stay: Bungalow in Kohima
There’s just no way we are letting you travel to Nagaland without immersing yourself in its rich, unique and simplistic way of life. And today we’ll visit the Kiruphema village to do just that. Expect traditional fishing, rice ponds, wood chopping, fabric weaving followed by a picnic on a hilltop with the squad.
Later, head back to the hotel for our farewell dinner. We hope you’ve got some tissues. It’s been magic.

Day 7: Goodbyes
Checkout & transfer
After breakfast, it's time to say goodbyes to your strangers turned friends, who are more like a family now. We will drop everyone back at the Dimapur airport. Hug it out and make plans for a reunion trip to ease the pain.

What flights are suitable for this trip?

We will transfer you from Dimapur airport to Kohima on day 1. You can book any flight to Dimapur that arrives before 01:00 P.M. on Day 1.

On the last day we will transfer from Kohima to Dimapur airport. You can book any flight that departs from Dimapur on or after 11:30 AM on day 7.
What's not included that I should budget for?
There are lot of great things you could spend your money on. But, remember that your trip already includes plenty of things such as breakfast & dinner everyday, a few lunch(s), activities, sightseeing & much more.
